Shrubs are a concentrated syrup of fruit, sugar & vinegar. They are rich and flavourful. Perfect for making healthy sodas & cocktails.

We make our Cranberry & Spruce Shrub using cranberries grown in Muskoka and fresh-freeze them so we can make our small batch shrub all year. We use our Spruce Tip infused apple cider vinegar and organic cane sugar to create this concentrated drink mix that is great for holiday cocktails.

Soda Instructions: pour 1/2-3/4 oz (15-22mL) into a glass and top with sparkling water and ice.

These small batch shrubs will last about 3 months after opening. Each bottle makes approximately 12 drinks.

Cranberry Mule

  • 1 ½  oz Vodka
  • ¾ oz Cranberry & Spruce Shrub
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Ginger ale

Combine lime juice, cranberry juice, vodka and ginger beer in mug. Stir. Garnish with lime wedges and fresh cranberries.

We are a small rural business. We do everything by hand from foraging wild plants to shipping orders from a small village. Please note that it may take up to a week to ship out your order. Standard shipping is via Canada Post Regular Parcel. You will be provided with a Tracking Number when the item is shipped. If you would rather me ship your item with through an alternate service contact me and I will try and accommodate your needs. Customers in the Muskoka area are welcome to arrange pick-up of their parcels and save on shipping. You MUST contact me at least 24 hours in advance to arrange pick up.

Please make sure your address is correct to avoid any lost packages.

Forest Bathing in a Bottle

As soon as I opened the Cranberry & Spruce Shrub I was invigorated with a fresh forest scent. Then the taste was amazing! I take ACV for digestion - this was far more pleasant - I put it in a little water before eating. I can feel my body loving it!

Makes a wonderful cocktail

I have used this with gin as well as whisky and it’s absolutely delicious. All of wild Muskoka products are wonderful!

Here’s my cocktail that includes a lot of Wild Muskoka products

Juice of half a lemon
2 dashes of rock barren bitters
3/4 ounce of cranberry and spruce shrub
2 ounces botanical gin
Mix in a shaker with ice and pour into a glass rimmed with spruce tip sugar

Perfect winter cocktail

I wanted a special drink for the first family gathering in 2 years, and I found the perfect thing! I followed the recipe directions for the Cranberry Mule and it was a hit with the whole family. Also really nice after all the eating we did that day!
