Herbal Cocktails & Mocktails: A Wild Muskoka Tasting Experience
Join us for an immersive, hands-on day exploring the art of herbal cocktails and alcohol-free mocktails using handcrafted, wild-inspired products. In this intimate class, we’ll blend traditional herbal wisdom with modern mixology to create drinks that are as nourishing as they are beautiful.
You’ll learn how to balance bitter, sweet, sour, and aromatic elements using home-made bitters, syrups, shrubs, and infusions—many foraged or inspired by the Muskoka landscape. We’ll explore the role of herbs in digestion, relaxation, and seasonal wellness, and how to thoughtfully incorporate them into both spirited and spirit-free drinks for gatherings or quiet rituals at home.
Participants will craft and taste several types of mixers and herbal garnishes for their cocktails and mocktails, gain practical recipes and ratios, and leave with inspiration for creating their own herbal drinks using the hand crafted ingredients from the class. This class is perfect for herbal enthusiasts, curious home bartenders, and anyone seeking a more intentional, plant-forward approach to celebration.
Participants will go home with samples of different herbal infused syrups, fruit shrubs, drink rimmers and fun garnishes for sharing their new drink inspiration with loved ones.
No prior experience required—just curiosity and a love of good drinks made well.
Class hours are 11:00am - 4pm. The class will be limited to 12 students
All drinks, snacks and light lunch provided. Dress to be outdoors for the day.
