5 Easy Salad Dressing Recipes

Want to know what to do with your Wild Muskoka Botanicals infused vinegars? Here are Five Easy Salad Dressings to make. I hope they become staple recipes in your home like they are at our house! I have suggested infused vinegars to use in each recipe, but please feel free to experiment and see what flavors you come up with.

Standard Instructions for all dressings:

  1. Shake all ingredients for your chosen variation together in a tightly-lidded container OR whisk together in a small bowl.
  2. Let stand 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  3. Shake again then dress salad as desired.


    WILD LEEK VINAIGRETTE

    3 tbsp - extra virgin olive oil
    2 tbsp - Wild Leek Vinegar
    pinch of salt and pepper - use our Wild Salt if you have it


    SUMAC & BERRY VINAIGRETTE

    2 tbsp - Sumac Vinegar
    2 tbsp - blueberry syrup or jelly
    1 tbsp - canola or sunflower oil

    *recipe would also be great with our Rosehip Vinegar

     

    WILDFIRE HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING

    3 tbsp - extra virgin olive oil
    2 tbsp - Wildfire Cider
    1 tsp  - dijon mustard
    2
    tsp  - honey


    PARMESAN, PEPPER & PINE DRESSING
    3 tbsp - extra virgin olive oil
    2 tbsp - White Pine Vinegar
    2 tbsp - mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream
    1 tbsp -  grated parmesan cheese
    1
    8 tsp - fresh ground black pepper (to taste)


    CREAMY ROSEHIP & POPPYSEED DRESSING

    2 tbsp  - Rosehip Vinegar
    2 tbsp  - extra virgin olive oil
    ½ cup  - plain greek yogurt
    1 tsp   - onion powder (optional, I don't always have this on hand)
    1-2 tbsp  - honey
    2 tsp  - poppy seeds
    pinch of salt and pepper - to taste

    *recipe would also be great with our Sumac Vinegar
    This dressing is best made in advance and served chilled and totally works on fruit salads!
