Our wild take on the bar pantry staple Orange Bitters. These bitters work perfectly in any cocktail recipe that includes Orange Bitters such as an Old Fashioned, Rob Roy, Bijou or Pegu Club. These Sumac & Orange bitters also make for an incredible Bitters & Soda with the perfect blend of sour and aromatic. 

Water, alcohol extracts of Sumac +, Orange peel *, Rhubarb â—Š, Ginger *, Gentian *. Maple syrup â—Š.

Add a dash of bitters (5–20 drops) to your favourite cocktail, mocktail or soda water.

Bitters are a traditional cocktail ingredient made of bitter and aromatic herbs infused in alcohol. Used as only a few drops per drink, they are the ‘salt & pepper’ that brings out flavour and character to your beverages.

The prohibition era collapsed the thriving bitters industry. Until the early 21st century the selection of bitters was extremely limited.

Our WILD BITTERS are a part of the movement to bring back craft cocktails. We use wildcrafted ingredients and high-quality organic herbs in our bitters. They are formulated using traditional herbal knowledge and attention to providing flavours applicable to modern craft cocktails. Because they are alcohol extracts bitters will last for many years, but over time the flavours will change. Enjoy your craft bitters!

Sumac Pego Club

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 dropper Orange & Sumac Bitters
  • Sumac powder for garnish

Combine ingredients except Sumac powder in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a cocktail glass and sprinkle with Sumac powder to garnish.

Standard shipping is via Canada Post Regular Parcel. You will be provided with a Tracking Number when the item is shipped. If you would rather me ship your item with through an alternate service contact me and I will try and accommodate your needs. Customers in the Muskoka area are welcome to arrange pick-up of their parcels and save on shipping. You MUST contact me at least 24 hours in advance to arrange pick up.
